At Craftywdy, we want customers to be able to review our cancellation terms clearly before placing an order. This policy explains when a cancellation request can still be considered, how cancellation eligibility is determined, and how refunds are handled when a cancellation is approved.
Unless otherwise stated, all timeframes in this policy are counted in business days only, meaning Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.
1. When a Cancellation Request Can Be Submitted
Customers may request cancellation before the order has been handed over to the shipping carrier.
If you want to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible and include:
- the order number
- the name used for the order
- the email address or phone number used at checkout
- whether you want to cancel the full order or only part of it
Sending a cancellation request does not mean the order has been cancelled automatically. A cancellation is effective only after we review the request and send confirmation.
2. How Cancellation Requests Are Reviewed
All cancellation requests are reviewed according to the actual order status at the time our team processes the request.
This means:
- a request submitted by email, contact form, or phone does not automatically secure cancellation eligibility
- if the order has already been finalized for dispatch or transferred to the carrier before the request is reviewed, cancellation may no longer be possible
- we try to review requests promptly during support hours, but we cannot guarantee that every request will be processed before the order advances to shipment
3. Order Cut-Off Time and Processing Timeline
Our daily order cut-off time is 2:00 PM EST.
Orders are generally processed within 1 to 2 business days. Orders placed after 2:00 PM EST begin processing on the next business day.
Because processing may begin quickly within that timeframe, customers who no longer wish to keep an order should contact us without delay.
4. When a Cancellation May Be Approved
A cancellation request may be approved if:
- the order has not yet been handed over to the shipping carrier
- the order is still in a stage where processing can be stopped
- the request is reviewed and confirmed before shipment takes place
Depending on the order status, we may approve:
- cancellation of the entire order
- cancellation of part of the order
All approval decisions depend on the real-time status of the order when reviewed.
5. When an Order Is No Longer Eligible for Cancellation
A cancellation request may be declined if:
- the order has already been transferred to the carrier
- the order has already entered shipped status
- processing has progressed to a stage where cancellation is no longer operationally possible
- the request reaches us too late in relation to dispatch preparation
Please note that the existence of a tracking number or shipping label does not by itself guarantee that an order can still be cancelled. Eligibility is determined by the actual processing and dispatch status.
If the order can no longer be cancelled, the customer may need to wait for delivery and then refer to our Returns & Refund Policy, if the order qualifies under that policy.
6. Order Change Requests
If you want to request a change to your order after placing it, such as:
- shipping address
- quantity
- color
- model
- product selection
- another order detail
please contact us as soon as possible.
Such requests are not guaranteed and will depend on the order status at the time we review them. In some situations, the only practical solution may be cancellation of the current order, if still eligible, followed by placement of a new order.
7. Partial Cancellations
If a request to cancel part of an order is approved before shipment, the cancelled portion will be refunded to the original payment method.
Partial cancellation is only possible when the order status still allows the requested adjustment.
8. Refunds for Approved Cancellations
If a cancellation is approved before shipment, the refund will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.
For approved cancellations:
- a full order cancellation will be refunded in full
- a partial cancellation will be refunded for the approved cancelled portion only
Approved cancellation refunds are processed within 7 business days from the date the cancellation is confirmed.
Please note that banks, credit card issuers, and payment providers may require additional time before the refunded amount appears in the customer’s account.
9. Orders Already Shipped or Refused by the Recipient
Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, it is no longer eligible for cancellation under this policy.
If a customer refuses delivery of an order, that situation is not treated as an approved cancellation.
If delivery is refused without prior written instructions confirmed by us, any approved refund may be subject to deductions such as the original shipping cost or other return-related charges where applicable.
Orders that have already shipped are handled under the Returns & Refund Policy, not under this Cancellation Policy.
10. When We May Cancel an Order
In some reasonable circumstances, Craftywdy may cancel an order, including for example if:
- we cannot verify information needed to process the order
- payment is not successfully completed or confirmed
- there is a material issue with order accuracy
- fraud risk or a serious operational concern is identified
- stock becomes unavailable due to synchronization error or another unexpected issue
If payment has already been received for an order we cancel, the appropriate refund will be issued to the original payment method.
11. Orders Marked Delivered but Reported as Not Received
If tracking shows that an order was delivered but the customer reports that it was not received, the matter will be reviewed under our Shipping Policy, not this Cancellation Policy.
Customers should contact us promptly so we can review the shipment details and assist with the next steps.
12. General Terms
This Cancellation Policy should be read together with the information provided on the website, at checkout, and in our related store policies.
If a mandatory legal requirement in a customer’s jurisdiction applies differently from part of this policy, we will follow the portion required by applicable law to the extent necessary.
